  • Hi, my name's Dave, and I'm a poolaholic!

    It's true, honestly!

My name is Big Dave Knight and I worship the American style pool game. Some one passed on a link to an interesting thread here and so I thought I'd say, "Hi", and have a look around!

    Nice to meet you all!

Hi You seem to have alot of knowledge and I hope you can stick around
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                      Welcome BigDave!

                      Glad to have you here

I hope you can bulk up the Pool/Billiards section - it would be great to have a resident expert for that!

Enjoy the site, many great people here - and lots of fun...

Thanks for the welcome! I've just noticed you're in Canada, is that where most of the people posting here are from?

Also, could you tell me how I can turn off the e-mails informing me of new posts? I'm getting an e-mail everytime someone replies, but I can't find the toggle!!!

                        Cheers in advance.
