  • Newbie Intro!

    Hi there!

Have played snooker on and off for ages. I took a 4 year break from it after uni as my cue got busted and I moved to a new area, but satisfied my snooker fix over this period by doing a refereeing course

However, I've finally got myself a new cue and am getting the snooker bug back!!

Found this website upon hunting for some training/practice routine tips and it looks like it covers everything you could ever want to know about the game!! Am hoping to get my game back to where it once was, so if anyone is near Aldershot/Farnham/Guildford and is looking for a few frames, then give us a shout!

    Cheers,
    Graham

      Hi Graham

Try Cuestars (cuestars.uk.com) which runs scratch tournaments across the south.

Or, if handicap tournaments float your boat, we run a handicapped, round-robin event at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club on Saturday afternoons.

        Cheers Tim,

Website looks good - though weekends for me are about as valuable as the Turin Shroud!!
I'll definitely consider this for the later years though - would be nice to get back to competitions again.

        Thanks,
        G

          Welcome Graham...
Seems a lot of people here, myself included, did the "return to your proper senses" thing,
after far too long a time and picked up a cue again!

I hope this is a trend!
