I found the forum while researching a new potential new cue and found the huge amounts of advice and opinions very helpful.
I've been playing since I was in my teens (bit beyond that now...ok more than a bit) and really got into snooker during the boom of the early 80s.I have been playing in a local league for the past 7-8 years. It's not a brilliant standard but the best players in it are County standard so no duffers.
I am though most likely but am working on it. I really play socially but one of my goals for next year is to play more and improve where I can.
That's where finding a decent cue came into my thoughts. After reading what seemed like 3000 threads I decided to order a Mastercraft from adr147 and await impatiently for it to be made.
Looking forward to finding my way around and picking up many gems of wisdom along the way.
