It is a great snooker site, loads to read and share opinions on on all aspects of the game, the coaching stuff is really interesting too.

I have to say this is a much better site, but I say that with a heavyheart as I have fond memories of the BBC site. Especailly after winning the first and only Prediction contest there.

Alex, have you any ideas who a Steve bywaters is, as he is on the bbc site at present acting a rude prat?

He was the West Ham goalkeeper from 2000 to 2005.

                  Seriously, i have no idea

                        Hi Archi
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                            I agree.

The BBC site is full of ********s posting threads like "Stephen Hendry is the greatest living human".

Why no threads inquiring why he is a sour-faced Scottish prat?

They only seem interested in today's players and not the real legends of the game like Jimmy White, Ray Reardon and John Spencer.

A couple of those names hark back to a time before some of us were even born Jules. Joe Davis fans probably think you're similarly dismissive of their 'real' legends, but it's only really possible to appreciate the players you've seen in action. I'm sure we can all get along, Hendry fans, White fans, et al.
