Just joined TSF and am greatly looking forward to perusing the forum (very interesting) and gleaning lots of info from everyone, especially you Brits...you've been there, done it!!
I used to play a lot of snooker and billiards some 40 years ago and just returned to it a few years ago. My short term goal is to get over to England and visits some clubs and look at some cues. Currently using a borrowed Dan Wutke and hope to order (if I can) a M. Wooldridge or blue-plate.

Wellcome to the forum Rob. Lots of interesting discussions and information for snooker players, (young and old!). Would be good if you plan your visit to England when the World Championships are on. A visit to the Crucible is a memorable experience. I've heard Woolridge is a good choice of cue, Trevor White as well. There's lots of good cue makers around.
