The actual reason for coming here is the miss rule... I put a question about it in Eirian Williams' forum on his prosnookerref.co.uk site about two years ago and I couldn't find it any more. Instead, I found his blog which had a link pointing here. I am very interested in tricky situations concerning the snooker rules. The miss rule thread would be needed because I need to convince some people about it and I think one of the best ways is to quote Eirian's very words.
BTW, I'm playing snooker on amateur level in a local club in Budapest.
