  • Help with cue!

Returning to the game after a break of too many years. Played local league for a while, but work, motorbikes and families put paid to that.

Don't have much money so am hoping to pick up a cue on ebay. Am aware of the cues that claim to be this and that but basically all come from china! Looking at a cue from wl snooker? which looks like a good buy but have never heard of wl. Could somebody please advise? Many thanks.

Have visited the forum on many occasions and decided it was time to join in.

Lets just say that at the end of the month once I've paid out my dues, there isn't alot. Not much help i know but i don't wish to bore anybody as to why i'm skint. Snooker I can play cheaply, but the cues there are sh@te!

I think Harv was only asking so that he could recommend a good cue depending on how much you want to spend . If you only want to spend around forty to fifty notes then i,d have a browse on ebay .

Cheers harv and hotpot, I'm assuming that neither of you have heard of wl snooker?

Hopefully somebody has but if not, maybe I will get lucky on ebay as I had said that was where I was looking with my small pot of pennies!

Yeah sorry, was just wanting a rough estimate of what you can afford...

Im not too clued up on cues for about 40/50 quid, but for a bit more i'd go for mastercraft all day long.

Yeah I second harverys recommendation , from what i,ve read on the forum Mastercraft are highly recommended . I,m after a cue myself and looks like i,ll be going for one . Personally id wait and spend £120 on a cue which is going to last a long time rather than spending 40-60 quid on one not half so good , unless youre lucky enought to pick up a good secondhand one .
