  • Bonjour.

    Hello

My name is Adam, from wales.

Obviously new here although I have been floating around this forum for a little while, just haven't posted. I'v been scouring through the archives and reading up on various bits n pieces which have been great in helping me decide what road to go down in getting my new cue.

Any way my cue should be with me in a few weeks hopefully
(the wait is a killer) and I will post pictures to share with you.

    Thanks adam.

Hi, welcome and all that. There are an awful lot of very good players in Wales, any near you or in your local club?
I often use large words I don't really understand in an attempt to appear more photosynthesis.

Well the club where I play and where I used to work was where mark williams used to practice (bargoed snooker club) before he recently bought a club of his own so I know mark.

The club where he plays now is a 5 min drive away from where I currently live...haven't been round there yet though.

So if you used to work in a snooker club does that mean you got free practice? Are you a decent player yourself? Did you play Mark at all?

Iv played with a mate of mines cue that was 21oz it just felt nice to play with, felt good in hand sort of thing.

Didn't really get on with my last cue a peradon century, lacked quality and felt a bit on the light side to me

are you sure it was 21oz - rare to find a cue over about 20oz

Yep told me 21oz, it was a dragon cue I think.
Cant be that rare surely cause dave from mastercraft said i could have my cue made upto a max of 24oz.

Whats so wrong with a 21oz weight then

No mate not fluently anway, which is shocking, welsh and cant speak our own language should have been made compulsary in schools i think.

I used a 21oz cue before now. My long game was superb with it for some reason
