I'm not going to make you feel any better either Goku so sorry - 147 in game against a mate and 142 in a match. You do have to bear in mind that people with high breaks like us have wasted alot of their life and money inside a snooker club!

totlxtc on this forum is the guy I was telling you about who makes cracking cues. Have a look at his posts and there's a link to some of his work. Stamford Cues is worth a look (google them) as well but probably no where near TW. Cheers
P.S. going to have a look at them cues now, will get back to you about what i think and how i get on down a northwest.

Had 2 147's, one of them was in a doubles match!!!!
Not played much last 3 years - looking to pick the cue up again though.Struggling with the game currently, after 6 years away from it.
92 centuries
2 Maximums
8 more centuries, and I'll be a happy man.

goku When things are going bad I go back to basics. Get my Steve Davis book out and have a read. Just try to hit the ball dead centre and not too hard. Try not to get too upset and just try to enjoy the game.

Playing against my boss and my mate who is really good, but my mate missed an absolute sitter to let me in, and the rest as they say is history, god knows how i held myself together, was shaking like a leaf.
But my 2nd one was even better, put a new tip on my cue - and i hate new tips, so spongy and can't feel the cue ball. 1st frame with a new tip, bang maximum, never run out of position once, never used side, it was all plain ball, cos of the tip.
Them days are long gone, now approaching 40 - hardly play and it is all a bit of a struggle nowStruggling with the game currently, after 6 years away from it.
