My name is Robin Gardner I am a 53 year old Englishman living on the Isle of Man (since 1978) I have played Snooker (badly) since the age of 14. I help run the Snooker league on the Island and am Press Officer for the committee. I became a grade 3 Referee over 2 years ago and will sit my Grade 2 exam in the very near future. I Refereed at the Home Internationals in Prestatyn Wales in 2005 and The European team Championships in Carlow Ireland in March of this year, I hope to go go to Belgium in March of next year for the European Team Championships.

I look forward to hearing from anyone wishing to make contact.

Last time I was in Irvine was 1987. 1st snooker match I'd been to, never forget it, it was brill. My dad took me to see my hero (White) v Hendry. Still got the picture of Jimmy and I proudly on my wall. Can't remember the name of the sports centre
