Hi all,
I found this forum by accident and have had a good read already.
I'm Mike, I live in Bury, Lancs. and have been playing snooker for 35 years. At the height of my playing I was playing in 4 league teams every week (Bolton leaque, 1st division winners for 5 out of 6 years in the 80's, Farnworth league - Champions every year I played, Tyldesley league and Manchester Industrial League).
And believe it or not when I wasn't playing league snooker I was practising every other day/night. I played without a single day off in those 6 years, lol.
I used to play for the Post Office in the Industrial League and could practise in a dedicated room in the Post Office Club in Manchester. Around closing time I would turn the lights off and stay quiet and wait for the staff to go home then clean and iron the table and play all night - lol. Those were the days.
Anyway enough jabbering.
I'm sure I can learn a lot here and if I can help anybody else I would love to do so.
Cheers,
MD
