Getting into playing

Hey, I've made a few posts on the forum now and was wondering whats the best way to get into playing? I'm at uni in Leicester and during non term live in Manchester and the closes places seem to be Riley's. I can play a little, but not very well so would probably get turned over by most people. Can anyone enter Pool and Snooker tournaments and does anyone know of any clubs ect near me?

NOt sure if Willie Thorne's place is still open in downtown Leicester or not. Don't know any places in Manchester but I'm sure there are quite a few clubs there

im from manchester, theres a few clubs if you google it,
i cant play for s**t but im gonna start practicing and try and get good.
where you based in manchester area?

Yes,Terry . the Rileys Wille Thorne one is still open, its at City Centre. i go and play there every week.

Cowman, if you want to play me some time, PM me. Also, let me know as well if you find any tournaments in Leicester.
