Greetings: I'm and old grey head, snooker player from the prairies in Canada - love the game but the old eyes are getting to be a problem - plus the fact that it is very hard to find a snooker table in Southern California. I'm looking forward to what people are talking about.

I was born and raised in Lougheed, Alberta - learned how to play in an old-time Alberta Barber shop and pool hall [which meant snooker, pea pool, english billiards, 101 and golf]. Interesting that in California, where I live now, pool halls re asociated with sleaze. In Lougheed it was where all the establishment men went.
