  • Good day

Hello guys, well was looking for snooker tips around the good 'ole google and stumbled upon this forum. I really am interested in snooker as in sport and free time spending. However, I am indeed very new to any kind of billiards and snooker as well. So I pretty much hope that I'll get some advise on stuff, some encouragement with my big fails which will come fast. You know.. pretty much the basic stuff everyone is lookin' for. So yeah.. just for another generic info. I am almost 30 (already?!), married and live in russia in saint petersburg. I thinks that is quite a nice place, but I am looking at moving somewhere... lets say, more stable.

So yeah.. that be me. Hell I sound like an AA :P

Tried. No like. Alot harder shots, and lacking the finesse of snooker if you dont mind me saying that. Tho, it is very challenging. But it is just not me

It seems like a crazy game to me, hit any ball onto any ball and pot it or the ball you hit??? But with the pocket's the size they are if you can master that game then you're doing pretty good. Would like to see how some snooker pros would do with the pockets on a Russian Pyramid table..... Welcome again anyway.

Well there are over 40 games possible on this kind of table. it very much depends on what you actually do. however they all got one in common. And that be harder shots then even in pool. - just because the balls are up to 68 mm in size and that makes them -heavy-. The cue has to be heavier and longer too, due to the playstyle - they say the cue has to be up to your chin when you standing up straight. Yes, this is pretty much it.. if you are interested, I can try to dig out some game rules.

i appreciate the effort.... im sure i could find the rules with google and i've seen more than my fair share of games on youtube, but without a table to play the games on properly it's like tit's on a bull Thanks for your effort. Im sure having someone that knows a bit about russian pyramid billiards on this forum will come in handy at some point though but cheers big ears anyway.
