          Hi Narelle

You could enter a women’s snooker tournament.

          How about the Southern Classic?

This is a tournament on the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association’s circuit.

It will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Jesters Snooker Hall, Greenbridge Road, Swindon, Wiltshire. Postcode SN3 3JD.

            Hi Narelle

The Masters is on at wembley from 9th to 16th January. There are always tickets available as it is such a big venue. Admittedly these won't be the best seats in the house but the trick is to spot the decent empty seats and then move during the interval!

The welsh open is in newport in wales in mid-february but I can't really recommend it as a place to visit in all honesty (cue indignation from the welsh contingent!). still, if you haven't seen a lot of live top-class snooker it might be worth considering.

i like the sound of the welsh open, it may suit my travel plans a bit better as its now looking like february.

Wales not a good place to visit? Would like to see top class snooker being played though so might not matter where it is

Hi - snookerdad - Jennifer Chapman, recently playing in the Portsmouth League - now moved back to the North East. interested in learning about Women's Comps - Billiards in Particular. Found contacts up here - but always keen to make more. Anything of interest would be cool. Latecomer to the game - but beat many a good male player when in Pompey. i know Emma Bonny quite well.

                            Regards,

                            Jenni

Hi - I'm in the North East of England - Durham area, having moved here recently - happy to give you my telephone number, if you email me on jenni.147@hotmail.com How's your billiards too! Or has the snooker bug bitten so deep you haven't considered trying this wonderful game . . . . . yet!! They say playing billiards can help your snooker - I believe it has helped my game somewhat. Great game in its own right. If you travel to the north east, I'm happy to organise something to accommodate your new passion.
                              Regards,

                              Jenni
