Yeah I know...... I would have thought there would have been loads of clubs around London, but its taken a while to find a good club.

Maybe its time start getting a few of us together........

Went there for some coaching a couple of Sundays ago .

I only play in a private club with 3 tables in Chessington .

Really looking for a slightly larger club but not much about south of the river .

Nice layout the Hurricane Rooms . Bit different over a few levels .

Yeah it is a bit different, I've only been playing there a few weeks cause its been quite hard find a good club in London.......

London seems have a shortage of clubs!!

John Woods does the coaching there doesn't he??

Yes mate . Really nice guy John . Helped my game already after 1 lesson .

Very difficult to find a good club . Was spoilt as we used to go to a private club with 4 good tables . But recession took hold , not enough memebers . Same old story and it shut down .

Do you travel far to King's Cross ?

Yeah a little bit, I live in east London so it takes a couple of trains to get there. It'd be nice to find a club in walking distance but I don't think that's going to happen.

I grew up on the East Anglian coast and I had a really good club in walking distance of my home......

Its a shame to hear that recession has hit the snooker halls hard!! But it sounds like your private club is hanging in there...... good on them!!
