  • which cue

hi to everyone. i am new to this site and would like to ask one question and introduce myself. my question is a simple one, which cue to buy. i have enjoyed snooker for many years but i am not good at it. a new cue may help my game. i have looked at many cues that are sold on the net, but i dont know which company to buy from. as a foster carer i have plenty of time on my hands but not a lot of money. £150 pounds is the absolute most i can spend. i can get a peradon cue made to my own specs 151.5 cm and 22oz for £128. any help or advice gratfully accepted.
    thanks
    tony.:snooker:

Welcome to the forum mucka . There are some reviews here on Peradon cues and from what i,ve read they seem to be mixed .

There are always good cues for sale on the forum and i usually have some for sale .

I would like to say if you Wait alittle you will get a Good Cue from this Forum for around £150.

I personally wouldn't Touch a Peradon Cue with a Barge Pole as I have Played with Many and there NOT GOOD and I dont wanna say anymore if you know what I mean, Plus a few friends of mine have also had bad experience with Peradon.

If you Wanted a Good Cue Value for Money Master Cue would Take Some Beating!!...Also GBL Cues....Give Stu Green a Ring at Greenbaize Tel: 01648 760888 he normally has a Good Few Cues Available at Good prices tell him Gareth from Wales Told you to Ring Him.

Ha, I think what ADR means is that 22oz is extremely heavy. 17-19oz is the norm.
Oh, and that's a bad miss.

i have always played with a heavy cue, as long as it is well ballanced. anyone who as seen me play snooker may well confuse it with seal clubbing.

thank you for the all the replys to my question.

Would have to say, cues are a lot cheaper in UK. Far away in here, even Master cues from Thailand can easily cost more than £100(RMB 1000), and mine took me exactly £150. To get a peradon, £200-£300 will be a reasonable budget.

Greenbaize.com are great value cues, top quality and Stu is very helpful. Definitely worth a look IMHO
I went into a chemist and asked for a deodorant, the assistant said "ball, stick or aerosol", "No, I want it for under my arms!" was my reply.
