most essential thing is to get a cue action action that delivers the cue straight more often than not. so work on your cue action and straight cueing before anything else.

There are loads and loads of threads on here for you to improve your game .

You could try to play players that are above your standard , as this will make you try harder and improve your game . Also play players that are the same standard as you .

Most important is keep still on the shot .Do not move your head .

Also, ever thought of playing for a team in a league . Always very good to play matches or competitions to improve your standard .

very addictive,lol. going down club as much as possible,game defiantly improving.gone from struggling to pot 3 balls in a row,to now 8 9 in a row,i dont bother with any fancy cue ball skillz,just hit it top middle and bottom,and concentre on the pot and keeping cue ball away from cushions. keeping still,staying down i think are the main factors for my improvement so far,and practice. just wish i could get some more consistency. another problem is when i start to miss shots my head gets overloaded with info,i should be doing and that,then takes me of the pot,very frustrating.
also new cue coming,hope that will make a difference,been using the clubs bamboo cues out the rack. any more tips,coach in nottingham?
