Crispian is a member here and was on the forum earlier .

£100 sounds a good deal if the condition is good .

Check out his website North wales cases

Getting one of Crispian's cases for £100 (depending on condition, of course) is a VERY good buy indeed. He makes what are, IMO, the very best leather cases available on the market.

However, is it just me who's wondering why on earth someone would buy an item, paying quite a fair bit of money for it, and then ask whether he'd made the right move or not?? It just seems strange ... nothing against you personally, bigbaz, as I don't even know you, it's just the way things were done that doesn't seem, well, sensible, to me.

Maybe bigbaz bought the case without knowing much about it
ad he saw it as 'a leather case for £100' which is a good deal anyway

and then decided to do more research as he certainly knows it wasnt a bad buy?

Thanks for your kind advise on the matter with the crispian jones case. I bought a john parris exclusive cue with minibutt mini extenion all new from bruce harrop who owns snooker shop.com.he got 19 john parris cues in which he had been waiting for 12months plus for .Bruce has a shop on 1025 stockport road levenhulme.manchester which has been there for years. So when i bought it off him it cost me 499.00 including vat iwanted to buy a leather case then but did not have the money he wanted 140.00 for a peridon leather case which i could not do at the time. When i went in last week he had this case in which he told me someone had traded it in.It was burgandy and black and 3/4 case so he said it was 100.00 i new it was a really good buy so got it there and then. Then i looked his name up and got on to this snooker forum .Now after finding his web site i am well happy and what a result in finding this forum.
