  • Hello all

Hello people, a new boy from the North East.
Despite being 40 I'm really very new to snooker and to be honest, I'm no natural.
So snookers a bit of struggle for me (3 kids and wife doesn't help) but I do very much enjoy it.

Came across this site as I was floating around the internet looking at cues etc and what a very good site it is too. Looking forward to taking part in discussions, getting better at the game and learning.

    Hi SBL
    Welcome to the forum.
You will definitely find good information about cues and coaching.
Luckily my wife enjoys playing snooker as well and her mother loves to look after our 3 children on Saturday evenings so we get to go down the club
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Strangely, my wife used to play the odd game of snooker when she was doing charity work whilst trying to get onto her phd course. THat was many years back now and to be honest, I'd rather have the peace and quiet away

I understand, that is why I tend to go to the club on my own Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (also pool league night:snooker Friday, oh... and Sunday if I am allowed!

WOW, I think I'd need to be divorced to get that much free time at the club.
