One other option is to play away, but to do so so softly that the cue-ball barely moves and just wobbles and sits back where it was - and leave your opponent with a touching ball!

Heh, this would result in both players playing the same shot infinitely and then ultimately the latest re-rack in a frame in history. I think most people would pull a few reds out of the pocket and put em on the table to signify a concession.
