New to Pool

Hello.

I am a student and when I moved to Uni, the wasn't much to do, but there was a Snooker and Pool hall near where I live and the rates were pretty cheap, so I would go there with some friends.

After some time, my interest grew and grew and recently I successfully achieved my first Break 'n' Dish. I am now looking at entering competitions, so I joined here so I could get some advice/knowledge.

"Break 'n' Dish"? I've not heard that one before, I presume it means a total clearance, what we call a "Tin Hat" round here.
