Hey guys and gals!
I'm new to the forum and thought it best to start here :P
I've been playing snooker on and off for a year now and only recently (Last 3-4 months) started playing about 10-15 hours a week.
So, interesting question to start with: I recently played a match where I was trailing by 2 frames in a best of 5. I was kicking myself for missed opportunities etc and decided that when I got to the table I was just going to take the shot as fast as I could. Turns out that by using this method I made my highest ever break and finally won the match 3-2 (Woop Woop!)
My question is, do you find it easier to play if you get to the table and just play a shot without really thinking about it, or do you prefer to triple check everything before playing a shot?
