Hello from Southport, UK!

Good afternoon chaps,

Just to introduce myself, I'm Matt from Southport in the North West, 20 years old. Just started really getting into snooker, and have bought myself a custom craftsman cue. Will try be as active as possible on this forum as so far have found the community a huge help when I was struggling deciding on a cue!

If anyone is from my area, hit me up and we can have a few frames

Welcome to the Forum mate. I joined a couple years ago when like you I was looking for a cue. I found lots of useful information. The other thing I've made use of is on the coaching side of things. If you've got a problem with a particular shot then post it up and you'll get some brilliant advice. If you want to get an answer to anything snooker related there will be someone here who can help. I think The Forum is great. There's been a few "knockers" recently who say the forum is "boring" and maybe it is not dynamic and fast moving but as a place to get answers to your questions then you can't beat it. (IMO obviously!).

Bigmeek - thanks mate. Yeah lots of very helpful people around! I'm going to have a goose around the coaching side a fair bit - really want to get to at least intermediate stage by this time next year...
