Hi all,
Been looking at this site over the past few days mostly reading peoples opinions of cues as I am looking to treat myself to a new one as I have recently started to play a bit more now the children have become teenagers and the house is up together so I figure I have a bit more me time (although the wife disagrees). I play a work colleague once or twice a week at Petersfield social club which has two very nice tables £2 an hour and they are usually available and the beer is cheap. Highest break in a game is around 50 but I can't be exact as the person I play is a bit of a miserable git and when the break got around mid twenties he sat his arse down and stopped scoring. Highest break in a line up is around 70 which stunned me as the next best is probably in the 30's and it was a bit of a dream pratice session where I couldn't seem to miss. Current Cue is a three quarter maple (i think) that an old friend gave me that used to make snooker tables for C and M joinery based in Walthamstow London, the cue is labelled C and M, it is a bit short 56 inch (I am 6 foot 1) and the tip a bit small 9mm maybe a bit less, probably more of a pool cue size. Anyhow I look forward to sharing views and I have posted in the Cues section if anyone can help me find a half decent cue in the South of England for sensible money.
Regards, Dan
