Hi guys,
Thought I'd post a hello before contributing.
I'm a 27-year old out of practice snooker/pool player from Southampton.
I wasn't too bad back in the day. I've won both the local social club and pub singles UK 8-ball tournaments, had a couple of seasons on the IPA and my old snooker/pool team was pretty successful.
Unfortunately, since 2009 I have barely played at all. My snooker club (Q-World) closed and I have since worked at various places around the country.
I'm currently spending week days in Tetbury in Glocestershire for work. There doesn't seem to be any local snooker clubs so I'm getting increasingly itchy for competition as I was in a team non-stop from 16 to 25.
Occasionally I get to play in Southampton when I come home at weekends but I don't really enjoy my local club (The Academy).
Next best thing is to chip in here, I suppose.
