Hi Folks,
joined today because I used to be quite keen at the game. The working men's club in the Yorkshire village I was born in had 3 very good tables - in fact so good that the Davis bros played on them (by choice) when in the area.
My mate and I played (back at the end of the 39-45 war) and we were not that bad at the game, we made one or two centuries.
I moved to Canada in 1954 and bought a 6 x 12 table from an embassy but now age (83) is catching up and my eyesight prevents good resolution when eyeing up the object ball. Soooo, the table has sat for some 10 years
without play and it is time for it to go.
