Hi folks, I've had my current cannon cue for over ten years or so, its a bit bashed up now, anyway I really like the cue, im thinking of two things, sending it off to someone like mike Wooldridge or Keith auld to get it cleaned up and have a small butt extension fitted. I'm also thinking of buying a new cue but looking at the custom builders around, I'm not the greatest player in the world and i know an expensive cue will not make me any better, if i do buy a cue it's because i love the game and would like to own something that i designed, if i did this i would have it built around my current cue spec but with a different design/look ... So I've been looking at the options and would like to know opinions on the custom cues peradon offer, im fully aware that cues by the likes of Wooldridge etc are the very best but im not sure if my budget can go that far, the price im looking at is probably around £350-£450 at a push, are these peradon cues any good? I'm looking for ideas here. Thanks

a friend of mine ordered one using their cue wizard software ..... well cue is not that badly finished but it's play really poorly , not very well balanced , terrible chevrons and it came fully lacquered . recently bought a cheap cue from woods cues , it play a thousands time better ....
never got one but seems that andy travis could make you a nice custom cue that suit your budget or ask adr147 for a mastercraft one

O.k, thanks that helps, like I said, I'm not the most amazing player but I quite fancy a custom cue and im not buying something that looks and plays crap that I've spent a fortune on. So I will avoid that. Think I will get mine cleaned up first then save a little more, then it gives me more options and see what comes up. Cheers
Any other thoughts are welcome:snooker:

I had Andy Travis build me a custom cue to my specs (59.5 length, 18.5oz weight, 10mm tip) mini butt and solid extension for under £250 and it's beautiful and plays like a dream...if and when I have a new cue I will be going back to Trav. And if it helps...my mate had a frame with my cue and ordered one of Trav to the exact same spec as mine (he is 6" 3/4 too.)
If you have one off Trav you will be well under budget and will get a fantastic looking & playing cue that's perfectly balanced and enhances your game.Pinpoint, Pause, Pullback, Pause, Pot.
