  • Hi, looking for someone to play with on a regular for-fun basis in London!

Hi, my name is Craig, I'm 21 and I've played snooker on and off for about 5 years.

I'm not very good, my high break is about 32 but I don't even get that high very often these days! :P

I live at Mile End and right by a snooker club, I haven't played in a couple of years since moving away from home (South Shields) where Im used to have a weekly game with my Dad. I would like to get playing again cause I miss it, but I don't have any friends who like the beautiful game!

If you would like to have a game, and you live anywhere east or central London, (or just anywhere reachable!) then gimme a shout. I'm not looking for something too formal, just a cool relaxed game with a bit of friendly competition.

Let me know asap if you'd like to join me

    Thanks

    Craig.

    Craig,

I joined the forum today as well and that's pretty much a mirror of my situation lol although i'm in Portsmouth so not much chance of killing two birds with one stone so to speak lol.

Good luck finding a playing partner.

        Hey Craig,

Snookers not really my game, tables been to big for me ive just joined an 8ball team this season and im thoroughly enjoying playing cuesports in general again. After speaking with a load of the guys i play with (significantly better than me) they say snooker is a great way to improve your cueing, plus it makes the pockets and pots look a hella lot bigger on the 6ft cloth

Long story short, im moving away from my house soon to Greenhithe, but i work in central London (Picadilly) and would be interested in having some regular game in London. Im not great at snooker but i know how to use a cue so sounds like we could be on a similar level. Anyways if your interested send me a PM or something and we can try arrange something up!

        Rob.

          Hey!

Thanks for getting back to me. I can't pm you for some reason, it's saying that I don't have permission to access it or whatever, anyway, I hope you see this on here then.

My number is 07718609868, gimme a text if you can, easier than chatting over the forum.

So yeah, I'd be up for arranging something if you like, I'd like to learn pool tbh, I played a little bit on holiday in France recently and liked it a lot. There is a pool and snooker club near me at Mile End in East-London which seems cool, we could do both pool and snooker if you fancy? ;-)

          Let me know asap. Cheers

          Craig

Seems many have this problem. Was the reason I stopped playing about a 18 months ago. Still love the game but going in the club to play 3-4 hours solo practice gets tedious when the practice doesn't pay off for anything. It's not even as if there are people in the club to have a game with anymore.
