    Dear snooker forum community,

my user name is my real name in real life too, I registered in this forum because I have one or two questions, because I like to meet new interesting people and good players and because I hope to find Brendan from Preston here. I played with him for several years in south Germany while he had a job there. One day he just disappeared, he quit his job and no-one ever saw him again. Meanwhile I also do not live in that town any more, a lot has changed for me too and I would like to tell Brendan about it. You know, we played up to five times a week for three years or so, he even brought me nice Aramith snooker balls in a beautiful leather case from a snooker shop in Preston!

I read that I need to write ten posts to be able to post fotos. As soon as I can do that I shall begin to ask my questions.

So hello to everybody here and - hit it - like Ronnie!

I tried to view my profile by clicking on my user name above, but a window opened saying:

"herbie, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?"

No no, I am not trying to do that. I just wondered if it is possible to see my highest break in my profile, because I had to answer this when I registered...

                Welcome to this community herbie!

I understand a little of what you went through, I have some friends whom I've lost contact with and I wish I could find them somehow too.

All the best for your search.

Hi Herbie, wishing you good luck in your search.

In case you haven't noticed, posts in this Introduction section would not increase your post count, so you have to start posting in the other sections to get to 10.

                  Cheers...

A good way to get your posts up to 10, would be to tell everyone what a nice cue they have in "post pics of your cue thread" =p

Well, as long as they're heartfelt I guess...
