ferrule?

I am going to re tip my cue and
My ferrule is lob sided can i sand the
Ferrule down or do i need to take it to the shop? Also what is the best brand
Of soft tip to buy?

Get the ferrule done my a cue doctor or maker. If the ferrule has gone lob sided it will only get worse with time.
