Wow those prices are amazing, do you allow guests who don't know a member for non-locals?

i have been to the website and seen the club, very nice. my question would be how busy do you get? with only 4 tables how do you set table time, is it first come first serve, a booking system or otherwise.

it's be a good idea to have a weekly membership, however if one can't get on a table because it's busy then what good would that be.

i would be very intersted because i live in Sheffield and some of the clubs that i practice at have terrible facilities, plus costs me more than £10 a week.

lucky sod, I would love to see this done in london, but just think there would be to many rotten apples trying to ruin it.

The prices are great, it looks like they put a lot time effort and cash into it. A modern snooker club showing the way to others stuck in a time warp.

Used to play at a similar club , 4 tables and a nice bar [ Not as good quality as this one ] , it shut down to lack of funds .
Lost a few of the drinkers that used the club and the Snooker could not generate enough for the upkeep and the rent .
Tables were always busy but we also had staff to pay for . When you lose , like we did , 4 or 5 decent regulars spending more than £100 per week , it was very hard trying to get replacements .
I suppose that's what you get for living in London .

Good luck with the Club .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

It gets busy on a Wednesday afternoon in the winter from about 2pm onwards as we have a Wednesday night snooker league in Sheffield and the players want some practice for their evening matches, otherwise you can get a table when you want. I will limit the membership in the case as it gets too busy because nobody wants to pay a membership and then not be able to play which defeats the object !!
We have some really good players down here if you ever need some good practice.
Come down and have a look round if your around.
                            Thanks Simon

Hi Neil, Thanks for you quote. I understand about snooker clubs as I also have a snooker and pool refurbishment company as well. So I know how many are struggling at the moment so I feel for you if your club had to close !! We have based this club on a German, Austrian type snooker club where I work extensively, where it is a private members club and all the members not only are playing buddies but respect the club by tidying away their own rubbish, cleaning up and we also get everyone when finishing the games to brush and block the tables ready for the next people to play. So the tables can be brushed 5-6 times per day !! there is no bar only drinks machines and snack machines but people can bring a beer and use the fridge on site if so desired. We also have no staff to keep costs down. Also because of my line of work the cloths and pockets are always replaced regulaly and kept in perfect condition.
                              Speak soon Simon
