I have started a VERY small furniture restoration business - more of a hobby really - and recently acquired two old bagatelle tables which I am trying to build up the courage to approach! I don't want to ruin them.

now that's a crazy cuesport! A round top cushion?? No thanks, I have quite enough trouble figuring out the angles of a nice simple rectangle thanks, best of luck though.
