I will say that I charge for this for two reasons, the amount of people asking if they can change their username is crazy and when you say that they can for £5 most do not bother, also it actually takes me personally 45 minutes to sit at the computer to change a username as I have to wait for the forum software to update all of the references from the old to the new username in the database and make sure there are no errors.

I think Andy's is the first one in 3 months that I have done, if I allowed everybody to do this for free I would of been on my 50th by now and a day gone of my time.

I have also rejected name changes! generally if a member sells anything on the site it is unlikely that they would get a username change granted especially if they have had problems with a buyer or have negative feedback.
