Hello there! My name is Fraser Paterson. I play in the Edinburgh Leagues, off a handicap of what looks like being cut 5 to 30 for the 2013/2014 season. We play every Thursday, Aug-March against other clubs fro across the city. I am Captain of our team, Dunedin Lads.

In the autumn and winter months I also run a round robin style friendly mini league, based on handicaps, in the Locarno. These ties can be played anytime.

Both the team and the mini league has an emphasis on fun and good company, with winning very much second...although important!

Sounds good mate. I live and play in Irvine we also have a nice wee league going down here with 18 teams and more waiting to join next season. We recently played a friendly challenge match against a 8 man select team from players from the Red Triangle Club in Cumbernauld. We will soon be playing the return leg at our club in Irvine. I've asked our team, Dunedin Lads to let me know by the end of next Wednesday Warren. I think it sounds a great idea! Home and away would work nicely.

Hi Warren! Reply as promised. Four of our guys would love to play you. How does a 'home and away' double header sound? First leg at your club?

What were the dates you were thinking of?

I ought to say, our handicaps are 20, two 35's and a 45. Based on our league rules, your handicap would be around -10. Are you happy to play handicaps? Our guys took fright when they saw your high break!
