  • Hello from The Erdington Side of Birmingham

    Hello

Used to play snooker in my teens and then I stopped. I've started to play again.

My nearest club is The Ball Room in Wylde Green and be good to meet anyone local who fancies a game.

Agree with you re the quality of the tables there - only played once, though and can't comment for the beer. That said, got some nice craft ales here. Maybe I can persuade the other half we can fit a table in. If we combine the two lounges. And carry out extensive building work.

I'm actually near the G Hill end so having re-looked online, the nearest club appears to be the one on Erdington High St?

Know Leicester well - used to live just off the Queens Road and played snooker / pool at Willie Thornes and whatever the pool bar was called underneath

Willie Thornes has closed down now. Only went in a few times as I have been more into other games but Willies was a great place. RIP

Sad to hear it's not there anymore - has it been turned into flats? Such a shame - very grand old building.

Dont think its flats, but the council took back the building. Q-bar had only just reclothed and recushioned the American tables as well!
