Tips on starting out?

Hi all just getting into the game as I have mentioned on a previous post. Just want some ideas or advice on how to go about things get into practicing a plan and how to start playing amateur players and building my way up?

learn proper technique early so you don't develop bad habits which can be hard to get rid of. Get some coaching ideally, or watch instructional videos. Join a club, get some practise partners, do some solo practise routines like line -up etc.

You need to master the basics to ensure you have a sound technique to build your game . Once youre happy with it concentrate on finding the middle of the white , uless you master this its hard to keep potting consistantly especially mid to long range .
