hi all. my name is dylan. i'm from south africa. started playing snooker two years ago and within my first year, i reached provincial level. i've been in love with the game ever since. my all time favourite player is the one and only Stephen Hendry. his track record is simply unbelievable. my favourite frame of all time is hendry's 147 in the deciding frame against ronny in the Liverpool Victoria Charity Challenge 1997.

    lets chat.

thanks Skypigeon. Higgins is also one of my favs. his long drawback makes his shots look very intimidating. i've tried it but it's to hard to emulate.

Welcome FlySolo. Are you involved in aviation?

Higgins is my favourite player and my style is similar to his. I'm right handed but I chalk with my left hand like Higgins and address the shot and go down on it in the same way. The big difference is he pots a lot more than me.

I'm trying to improve my drawback so the cue comes back as far as it can like Higgins and Hendry do so well. Its not appropriate for every shot and can lead to a complete miss as its hard to push through straight but its very useful as it provides extra control without the need for more pace.

Hi Skypigeon. I love higgins' mechanical style. I was in awe when he became world champion and number 1 and for good measure finished off the match with a clearence. The subsequent lengthy standing ovation he recieved was much deserved. He's lost that potting quality in recent years but I believe he'll be world champion this year and make a maximum in the final for good measure!

                              Hi flysolo,
Agree with your favourite frame, In that match, Hendry and O'sullivan played at their absolute best and it was in my opinion, the finest match ever played.
Neither deserved to lose. Hope you have great time here.
Only been here a week myself.
