Hello from NZ

Hi there, name is Ean. Being a long-time reader and have just joined up.

I love snooker with my father getting me into it at a young age of 15 and was hooked ever since. But doing the O.E and having a family snooker went on the back burner till about 2 years ago.

Favourite player of all time is Stephen Hendry but am also on the O'sullivan band wagon!

Love to hear from anyone from NZ on here as well.

My Sister moved out to NZ last december to live in Cristchurch, i'm thinking about joining her there as she loves it. She told me there is a place near to where she lives with 8 snooker tables, whats the snooker scene like there? are there any tournaments, many clubs, leagues?

I know one of the main examiners through Nic Barrow's system is based out of Christchurch. If you jump on www.nzbsa.org.nz website it shows the upcoming tournaments and also gives you a contact in the Canterbury area to get in touch with. Hopefully may meet on the beize on day

The examiner is Gary Gillard who did his Nic Barrow course at the same time as Terry Davidson. The Canterbury Assn is a pretty active one and its contact details are on the NZBSA web site.
