    Hi All,

Returning to the game after 5 or so years out, stumbled across this forum while looking for some cue repair advice so registering to get involved!

I'm Chris form the West Midlands, played premier league / div1 level local snooker for several years before my sabbatical and now dragged back into the mix at a new club just starting out in Div 2. Really enjoying the game again after completely falling out of love with it. I am really hoping to hit a ton soon, my max being 99 and having failed on many, many occasions to get over the line.

Good community you all got going here so pleased to be a part of it!

      Thanks for welcome Neil.

Cue felt dead, very inconsistent and didn't sound 'right'. Our old cue repair place had shut down but found another fairly local who resolved it with a replacement ferrule. It didn't feel like a ferrule issue to me so was concerned that it might be weight/joint related but happily not. Shows how much I know!

Plays lovely now, just getting used to a Talisman Soft (switched from an Elk) - and wish I had done so sooner to be honest. Loving the response of it so far.
