Play in Coulsdon , Surrey .

When you say that you are a Junior player , do you compete in the Junior Tournaments around the Country ?

Not yet. I've only started playing regular matches at the club recently. Before I would just play on my mini table at home. Then I got bored and started playing on the full size tables down the club. I'm around the 20-30 break mark and I hope than in a couple of years when I get better I could play in some of the easb regional tour events but I'd rather wait until I get to a better standard.

What's it like at Woking these days ? Good playing conditions ?

One way to improve is to play League Snooker .

What cue do you use ?

Really good conditions. 20 tables, lots of space, good food, nice people. I do play in the junior league at the club on Saturday mornings. Currently I'm using a BCE cue.

Yeh definitely. My weakness at the minute is probably my cue ball control. Could you suggest a good routine for cue ball control?

I will leave that one to a few off the more informed members' on here

They should be able to advise decent routines .

The one i do is the line up , but after a while that does get a little boring .

I do the line up on my mini table with 8 reds and usulally get the the 40 break mark there. And maybe 3 out of 12 times I will clear it. I'm planning on doing a line up on Saturday morning at the club and that will be my first line up on a full size table. Hope to get to the 35 break mark with that.

If you are doing that , just start with 5 reds between the pink and the black . Then as you improve add more reds between pink and blue .

                        Good luck :snooker:

Ok thanks for the advice. I've seen a few of the other lads do that. By the way, do you have an idea of what the standard is at the regional junior tournaments?

here are some to be getting on with
they tend to start easy and with variations to make harder.
