A quick hello from a newbie

Been reading the forum for a while , and finally registered an account

Played snooker on and off for years but only casually with friends as a sociable thing rather than seriously . Would play once per week for a month or two and then not play again for months due to the people I played with working away from home , family things etc .

I started playing more during the summer and decided to be a more regular player (currently twice per week ) . I now go once to the club myself mid week to practice and play with a mate on the weekend .

Learning a lot from reading the forum

Hi tommy . I've been steadily improving and doing ok .

I recently had a few frames at the Davis club in Ayr . Not sure if that's where you play or not . Table was good (table 15) but the light shade was so low that I had to duck down to be able to see the pockets on some of the shots lol.

I'm lucky to have a couple of knowledgable players help the last few months and then I had my first proper coaching session yesterday which was great .
