Hi, new here and cant find anywhere to view posts that I have submitted. Posted one the other day for cue advice and it does not appear to have been posted. Anybody got any ideas where it has gone?

Wasn't selling anything just asking if 'x' was a reasonable amount for a mastercue rocket 3/4 ash from snookercues.com and whether my existing mini butt and extension from a Lewsi & Wilson cue would fit or do mastercue have special joints?

There is an option to buy a mini butt and blueray extension with the cue

sorry not sure on what joints L&W used, so may be safer to get a set if you can at the same time you buy the cue (if you buy the cue )

your L&W cue, is that with the square bagde, white with black text?

ps welcome to TSF, where abouts do you play and is the L&W your only cue?

Yes, white square badge with black text. Bought new off ebay approx. 6 or 7 years ago. Wasn't happy with the finish so gave it a slight sanding and the ebony on the butt appears to just be stained rosewood so now the rosewood is showing through and the cue looks a mess and I want a new one. I play in Boston, Lincs and we have just been promoted to the Superleague starting in September so I wanted to get a new cue and practice with it over the summer (play once a week). Yes the L&W is my only cue.

If you search on here for Lewis & Wilson it is the same cue that was posted for sale by cueinaction on 16th October 2013

that is what I thought, but the bit about, the "paint" coming off and showing rosewood underneath, I was hoping that the pictures may show that it is still ebony just not jet-black but with lighter streaks which is quite common, but was "painted/stained" to look jet-black, also a common practise in certain circles
