  • Hello all

Hey all im new to this forum but looked good for information and to keep me going with my snooker.

I started playing around 5-6 months ago with a mate in my local town, now playing aroung 5-10 hours a week at the table! highest break is 39 and got myself a nice cue for xmas! looking for other players that are much better then me around the wetherby area, just to give me some handy hints! i have played drunk pool for years and play in a pool team but slowley enjoying pool less and less as my snooker is taking over! i want to play for a local team but dont feel i am anywhere near good enough! for those who play in there local teams whats an avridge break, and what should i be aiming for within my game? would be greatful for any information.

    Welcome

Welcome m8... hopefully this site will help you improve ur game... you dont have to be hittin big breaks to play for local teams and stuff... the club i use to play for had different teams for different level of players... guys cud hit 60 + and some guys were more 20+ breakers.. so u shud just ask about and u shud get on a team no matter what level ur playin at..all the best....

Thanks for all your positive feedback! and a warm welcome! hopefully i will pick up a thing or two from you all, obviously we all learn at different speeds and some of us pick things up fast, any one started playing in recent months and if so hows your games going? any big breaks? is there any1 from around Leeds on here that might want a game and to share some hints and tips i would be appreciate that, was going to go through to Sheffield to the snooker academy and get some coaching but money is required to do so!

                thanks again all!
