  • Greetings Fellow Snooker Lovers

    Hello all.

I just thought I would introduce myself.

My name is David, I'm from Edinburgh, Scotland.

Favourite player was Stephen Hendry, before he decided to pack it in Now I'm very impartial when it comes to watching Snooker.

I love watching the Snooker, and I've been lucky enough to get to a few tournaments to watch these guys in the flesh. It baffles me how they make an incredibly difficult game look so easy

Anyway, I look forward to being part of the community.

    Thanks.

    David.

Welcome to The Forum David. Do you play or just watch on the telly? Few guys from Edinburgh here. All snooker loopy! If you fancy a game the Locarno in Slateford is a great wee club.

            Thanks for the welcome.

My brother works at Locarno and Shandon, so that's about the only place I go.

Sorry for the double post, on my phone and the mobile version of the site is harder for me to quote.

As I said, my brother works at Locarno and Shandon, so it's really the only place I go. Except this Friday when I play at the Manse Club.

I take it bat means cue?

If so, then mine is a 2 piece Riley, ash wood. Very nice to play with.

Coming from a Scotsman , that is saying something !!

Mr Hendry living down south now , and joined the Club that i play at . Yet to see him play there though .
