Hi all. Been a member for a while but only just getting around to posting. Low grade player looking to improve my game a bit. I am a regular player in the Lancaster and Morecambe handicap league, albeit with a terrible handicap. Looking to bring it down over the next couple of seasons. Looks like some good advice on here to help me do that.

I was quite surprised I remembered it to be honest..

          I use one of these:

          http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ilpage_o03_s00

Not exactly top quality but I've been using it for the past 2 years and have been very happy with it. I think I'll be looking to get a new one at the end of this season now I am happy about the sort of weight I like to play with. Didn't want to spend a fair chunk of money and be disappointed after 6 months because I was playing with the wrong weight or length.

At least I'm doing something right, now just to improve my playing

Hopefully I can stay clear of the cue buying bug, there are some very nice looking ones out there..

Maybe after I've saved up for a bigger house with a table in it
