Any cue maker can make a dud, it happens. If MW/TW/RC/CJ are so good, how come they get resold. JPUs get resold as well, mostly by people making a quick buck ordering a cue they'll never use, sad.

Parris cues have been used to win more World titles and compile more 147s than any other cue. They're the facts. If there was a better cue maker out there, Ronnie (the greatest ever) would already be using his cue because he is the fussiest so and so there is.

All the rest on this thread is just opinion mostly from people who haven't owned or used a JPU. I like facts.

Parris Cues also have the lowest World Title and 147 rate, relative to the number being used.

        (I also like facts )

And as Byrom says, the World Title thing isn't a fact, actually.

The cue doth not maketh the man, it is the man that maketh the cue.

Passage taken from John chapter 4 Higgins into the worlds going North West. Revelations - Chapter 1997 ken doc verse 3 quid rack cue, Psalms Chapter 1370 Sean Murphy antique, Corinthians Chapter Mark Willow hunting Barracuda getting more than a Gold medal and various tales of yonder years in days of old where the Ye Old ash blew for Davis who was followed by King Hendry the 7th who was quite the connoisseur.

Yes I do. I personally select most of the exotic timber and all of the Ash and Maple we use from specialist suppliers. Spending many sometimes back breaking but rewarding hours choosing woods for their grain pattern and quality. In the workshop I carry out what I consider the most important tasks I do some of the work on all of the cues with all other work being done under my close supervision. Nothing happens without my approval. The craftsmen I employ have many years experience in their own skills such as Joinery, Engineering and French Polishing. Some have been with me for up to twenty years. I have taken those skills and applied them to making cues my way. I check the cues at every stage of their creation to make sure everything is perfect. No cues leave the workshop without my final test and inspection.I also spend a large part of my day doing one of the most important things. That is dealing with customers in our showroom on the phone or checking website orders. It is vital that customers get exactly what they want, or sometimes they may need help in choosing their ideal cue. I have spent many years building the reputation of Parris Cues, customer satisfaction and approval is of the upmost importance to me, as much of that reputation has been built by recommendations from satisfied customers.

From JP. Guess that's what make him the best. just look at the players that are coming back to Parris Cues and winning everything. Speaks for itself.

You can argue that some of the things I and others have said is wrong or over biased but the facts remain. JP is the premier cue maker in the world and the pro's including the greatest of all time know more than you lot. I will he sticking with my Ultimate. despite what ADR147 things he knows about cues just because he sells a few.

I'm waiting for the "wabbit" stuff to start again

2v - no one is saying to not stick with your JPU

and ADR sells more than a "few" cues

can you post a nice picture of your JPU please - many of TSF love a picture of a cue
