a friend of mine asked Stamford cues about this, a few months ago !! 60 "/19.2 OZ cue.
He got the same answer! gonna be between 16 and 17.5 "BP.
had something to do with the weight of the cue , as they said. ( that was a one piece cue,, Although ).

Master Blaster and 2v1977 are the same person, and there's no way anybody would order a cue like that lol

        Good fun though.
Believe me we are not the same person. And as I said in a previous post my cue design is not to everyone's taste. I had it designed to my taste. I don't understand why people pick cues to be the same as others. I went for a cue that I like, and it will be the cue I own for the rest of my life.

Ok I admit I didn't have a clue what the BP was on my cue. When asked yesterday in a previous post I quickly googled it and the first think I saw I put. Silly me but im sure ADR147 is right at 16~17". I will call JP tomorrow and ask.

As I said before, the BP will not make any difference to me, I am an average club player capable of centuries, not the next Ronnie where the smallest details will matter

I was trying to figure out why your post count stayed at 2 when you've posted lots ?
Maybe you need to post outwith the "newbies & introductions" folder ?
Yeah I didn't realise that was the problem. I thought they all counted. Not sure why you are bothered about my post count.

Capable of centuries yet you stated on a thread last week that you can't string 3 balls together.

I'm not sure if many people know this but JP gives 2 weeks trial with a new made cue to see if it is right for you. If not you can change it.

I know I will be happy with it. I love the look of the cue and its got the dimensions I want so can't wait for it.

im also looking forward to trying your cue challenge I saw in another thread.

                all the best mate

Please repost where I have said I can't string 3 pots together. You won't find any post like that from me.

I agreed that my match play isn't as good as my practice sessions. I knock in centuries in practice on the line up etc,,, but can't seem to be abke to reach it in my league matches. I still hit 50's and 60' but can't seem to push my match play to the century breaks yet. Only a matter of time though. Still not bad for someone who had 15 years away from the tables and who has been back less than a year. Also considering I only get 2 days a week to practice. I can only imagine how good I would be if I was able to practice every day.

Butt socket,,, You mean SD joint. yes it has that too.

my wife said that men are more bitchier than women. This is a very true statement going by some of the posts on here.

I genuinely hope you really enjoyed the order process (which is half the fun) and that the cue is everything you want it to be. Whatever the design, it will be uniquely yours, which is all that matters. I raised the issue of the balance point because it is critical when switching cues and you had not mentioned it. I therefore suspected you had not considered it. Contrary to what you might think about its importance at your level, it is vital you accurately measure the bp on your playing cue and have JP duplicate it. That gives you the absolute best chance of having your Ultimate play as a keeper. Given JP's reputation for giving the fussy pros exactly what they want, it should be no problem for him. As you know, I have posted my dislike of the JP hype but that doesn't mean his outfit can't make a superb cue. The only other thing I would say is that practising the line up is not good for match play. Line up centuries are relatively easy to make. If you want your match game to improve go for specific routines and patterns. The Ding app is a good place to start and it's free.
