hello everyone my name is tom heywood , i live in north wales , uk , found this site by chance , i have a problem , i want to turn my garage into a snooker room , buy the wife isn`t happy , any ideas how i can win her round ?

Start looking at car brochures and making a space n the garage - go for cars that take a lot of spare time up (classic Triumph Spitfire for eg) and mention all the fun of going to auto jumbles in the pouring rain and all the nerdy folk with big moustaches and flat caps waffling on about setting carburettors with a straw etc. Then just happen to mention you wouldn't mind a snooker table, at least your missus won't have to put sheets of newspaper on the floor (Last of the Summer Wine) and oily hand prints on the fridge, sink, bed-sheets etc.
