Came across a few sites, but that is just about all.. so i want to know if there is any recommeded site that u all uses here?

      what i came across:
      http://www.maximumbreak-snooker-store.com/
      http://www.billiardsboutique.com/

im comparing peradon cues between the websites and maximumbreak offers the best price.

      any more insights guys?

i wouldn't buy a peradon, never seen one worth the price. if you want an uk made cue at an reasonable price you should look at the second hand market. check out adr147 on here or ebay, he will sort you out

If you do want a custom cue there is Mike Wooldridge (google it), Trevor White (no website but can contact him by PM on here), Andy Travis, Jim Evans, Richy McDonald - all on here too. Robin Cook is another and he has a website.

Then of course there's always John Parris who has a website and does have some cues in stock and you can have them modified to your specs pretty quickly. Now if you want one of his Ultimates the wait is 18-24 months.

Also highly recommended is GreenBaize - just google it. He stocks tons of cues but they mostly come from Thailand so you may want to order and see if you can get delivery directly from the factory as it might be cheaper than shipping to UK and back.
hello Terry, many thanks for all the great suggestions there. yeap at the moment, i am not looking at any custom cues as I dont exactly know what specifications to custom specifically for myself. I feel I would be good with any nice quality decent cues in the market, of coz not those mass produced shabby craps :P

Mike Wooldridge man! Of all the custom cues eye candy i was looking online, MW ones attracted me the most especially the MW Tiger! I will definitely get that tiger one day! Budget just does not permit right now. And yeah even if i get the Tiger, I would just get one ready made one which Mike has it in stock with probably minimal custom work to be done.

I tried Green Baize before, as in i sent him a message via the order form on his website inquiring about Mastercue and Maximus. Its been a few weeks already but there is still no reply from him. Well, i guess im gonna shoot him another one later and see how it goes. Hopefully since most of his cues are from Thailand, he can arrange a direct shipment from Thailand to Malaysia yeahhh...

oh really? why not peradon? well i dont have much experience yet in UK cues so any insights are really appreciated.

i just read about it that they are one of the oldest cue maker and cant go wrong with a peradon lol..

and now that i get to know of this forum, well i guess that's just perfect for me to browse around and getting feedbacks especially for a newbie like me.

thanks mate i'll take a look at adr147

The guys above also mention some fantastic names and cue makers, of course comes down to your budget though.

lots and lots and lots of temptations man! urghhhh!! hahahaha.. who would not want to own at least a high end cue that u super like right?

well well well, need an opinion here.

is it better to work my way up different type of cues progressively as i improve my game? or is it more advisable for me to save up and get the very cue i like and just stick with it and play with it till im old? in this case it would be the MW Tiger Cue oh man...

I sense you have fallen in love with the MW Tiger cue
Well the general opinion is MW makes a very very good cue, pure quality, great craftsmanship - all you can ask for.
The choice is immense but I would say get some overtime in ( presuming you are in work ) and chase that dream of a MW Tiger -- ROOOAAARRRRR !!!
                        Al the best mate

--- However, whatever cue you have currently just keep enjoying your game ---

Only having a laugh I wouldn't recommend any of them TBH due to the waiting times. If the waiting times were 3days I'd order one.

scarface, you can phone the shop as they do have a selection in stock (not necessarily the higher models though) that they could send out straight away

scarface did say he wanted a UK made cue so a Mastercue would not fit the bill
also I am sure he could get one closer to home for cheaper
